VX One Highlights

Sailboat racing on the ocean in sunny weather

Wide Sailing Appeal

No limits exist to how and who can sail a VX One, from highly skilled to social sailors, from young to mature sailors. Skills in asymmetric sailing, crew work, sail trim, control adjustment, and race tactics, are all part of the fun.

Smart sailing systems

A near effortless handling experience is achieved through a combination of using advanced features – the GNAV vang system removes clutter from the cockpit, the self-tacker jib along with a single line to launch and douse a spinnaker makes boat handling easy for a crew of 2-3 in all conditions and, centralised controls provide easy access for quick adjustments.

A High-performance Experience

An optimally designed a-symmetrical sail plan, rig and planing hull shape create the boat’s “lift-off” power, while the flat stern section and chines and the ballasted lifting keel enhance the boat’s stability.

VX One FAQ’s

What is meant by the Class Rules being "closed class rules"?

Can the VX One be sailed by 2 people or 3 people?

Yes, the Class rules allow for the VX One to be sailed by a minimum of 2 people.

Can I get my sails made by any sailmaker?

Yes, VX ONE sails are measurement-controlled and may be manufactured by any sailmaker. Sails need to be measured by an approved measurer, and appropriate markings placed on the sails to show that sail measurement has been performed and that they comply with the class rules.

Sails also need a sail royalty sticker to race.

Can I choose my sail number?

Can I pay someone to race on my VX One?

Can I sail the VX One with Children?
