About the VX One International Class

Welcome to the VX One International Class Association

The Class brings together sailors from five continents to enjoy high-performance, one-design, competitive sailing that’s fast, fair, fun, and that promotes camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a passion for excellence. The International Class is led by a proactive group of international VX One sailors that manage the class, including class rules, international events, hull plaques, and personalised sail numbers.

In November 2025, the Class became a World Sailing recognised International Class, paving the way to host official World Championships sanctioned by World Sailing. With this new status, the VX One International Class is now planning its inaugural World Championships, which will be held in Miami 2027.
