Be fully race-ready with your VX One!
The VX One Class Rules require hulls to display a World Sailing VX One hull plaque. This plaque confirms that the hull was built by a certified, licensed builder and is required for eligibility to race.
All new boats will have a World Sailing hull plaque installed; however, current boats do not. If you own a VX One and plan to race, it is important to purchase a hull plaque to comply with class rules
How do I get my plaque?
Contact your country VX One Class manager, who will arrange delivery of the plaque. Many country-class associations will distribute the plaques at major regattas to keep costs down.
How much does the plaque cost?
The hull plaque for hull numbers 101 – 331 is USD 80
The hull plaque for hull numbers 332 – 430 is USD 135
How do I pay for the plaque?
You can pay for the plaque through the VX One boat owners portal.
Where does the World Sailing hull plaque go on my boat?
The plaque gets stuck on the left-hand side of the rudder pod, as seen in the photo.
Here’s to more great VX One sailing ahead!
