We are excited to announce the forming of the VX One International Class Association (VXOICA).
Below is the outline of the process for the formation of the VXOICA and your involvement in the process.
If you are no longer the owner of a VX One, then please reply so we can remove you from the Owners list.

The final clause outlines the process we will follow over the next couple of months to form the association.
Each boat has the right to nominate someone for the class Executive positions available.
If two nominations are received for a person for the same position, then that will be accepted as being a proposal and second for that person and they will be added to the ballot if they consent.
Timeline:
21st March Any nominations must be received on or before 21st March.
1st April You will be emailed again at the beginning of April with a list of nominations and asked to vote.
18th April Votes close
19th April Results announced on the vxsailing.com website
20th April On-line Formation meeting. All decisions will be made from online voting, so this will be more of a Question-and-answer session so the new executive can understand any key issues from the owners.
Roles:
The following roles need to be filled for the new Executive:
- President
- Vice President for North America
- Vice President for Oceania
- Vice President for Europe
- Chief Financial Officer.
You can only vote for a Vice president from your continental region.
What you need to do:
Please reply by emailing john.clinton@mackayboats.com if you have any nominations for the above roles or no longer own a VX One. For a valid nomination, you must include your boat number. Please check with the person before nominating them!
If you are not nominating anyone, then do not do anything.

We will send an email to you with the list of nominations in early April so you can vote.
